Classroom and Field Trip Volunteering

Many Lincoln parents help children in the classrooms, in the library, on field trips, and in other special programs. They tutor students, work with small groups, read stories, and assist with projects. If you wish to participate in your child's education, please contact his/her teacher. State law requires that all volunteers must file a Certificate of Tuberculosis Examination with the school office and sign in at the office.

Yard Duty Supervisor

Lincoln always needs parents to volunteer for yard duty. Yard duty supervisors are in charge of the playground during recess. The school will pay those who can come weekly, but we always need occasional volunteers to fill in. Contact the school office (408) 252-4798 to sign up. State law requires that all yard duty volunteers must file a Certificate of Tuberculosis Examination with the school office and sign in at the office.

Valet Supervisor

Parents supervise student "valets" who assist cars in the morning at the front drop-off zone. The valets open the car doors and help the passenger get out with all their belongings. The valet program helps traffic move more smoothly and keeps kids safe from cars. Contact the school office (408) 252-4798 to sign up.
